While both Group and Individual Consultation will fulfill the requirements for EMDRIA Certification, you do not need to be pursuing Certification to participate in Consultation with Candace.

Group Dates

Both groups meet Tuesdays, 3:00 to 5:00 pm PT (6:00 to 8:00 pm ET), every 4 weeks. No sessions over Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year. Curriculum Option (A, B, or C) is determined by interest.

• Tue 3-5p PT, start date Nov 3 (11/3, 12/1, 1/5, 2/2, 3/2, 3/30), Curriculum Option TBD

• Tue 3-5p PT, start date Jan 26 (1/26, 2/23, 3/23, 4/20, 5/18, 6/15), Curriculum Option TBD

Option B groups meet five times and end one session early (3/2 or 5/18).

Group Consultation Series

• Schedule: Five or six 2-hour Group Consultation meetings, approximately once per month, typically meeting every 4 weeks

• Dates & Times: Groups will be determined and assigned based on expressed interest

• Group Size: Minimum of 2 clinicians to hold the group, maximum of 6 clinicians

• Curriculum: If a companion course is designated for your group consultation series, Consultees will be asked to work through the course independently throughout the Group Consultation series. Application of the course material with clients will be discussed during group consultation meetings.

OPTION A - Accelerated Certification + Advanced Certification Pathway (PART 1+2)

Precision EMDR Decoding Complex Developmental Trauma using EMDR Therapy (Part 1 & 2) are required companion courses for this group consultation series. Consultees will be asked to work through the course independently throughout the Group Consultation series. Application of the course material with clients will be discussed during group consultation meetings, with the expectation that Consultees complete the training modules according to the following schedule:

Both Part 1 & 2 over the course of 6 months

Part 1

• Group 1: Module 1 thru Module 2 Video C (4.25 hrs)

• Group 2: Module 2 Video D thru Module 3 Video E (6.5 hrs)

• Group 3: Module 3 Video F thru Module 4 (4.25 hrs)

Part 2

• Group 4: Module 1 (6.5 hrs)

• Group 5: Module 2 (6 hrs)

• Group 6: Module 3 (5.5 hrs)

OPTION B - Certification Pathway (PART 1 ONLY)

Precision EMDR Decoding Complex Developmental Trauma using EMDR Therapy (Part 1) ONLY is a required companion course for this group consultation series. Consultees will be asked to work through the course independently throughout the Group Consultation series. Application of the course material with clients will be discussed during group consultation meetings, with the expectation that Consultees complete the training modules according to the following schedule:

Part 1 only over the course of 5 months

• Group 1: Module 1 (2 hrs)

• Group 2: Module 2A - 2E (3.25 hrs)

• Group 3: Module 2F - 3B (3.75 hrs)

• Group 4: Module 3C - 3G (3 hrs)

• Group 5: Module 4 (2.5 hrs)

Note: The group can discuss extending the schedule to continue on with Part 2 toward Advanced Certification.

OPTION C - Certification Pathway + Narcissistic Abuse (PART 1 + NARCISSISTIC ABUSE)

Precision EMDR Decoding Complex Developmental Trauma using EMDR Therapy (Part 1) and Preparing Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse for EMDR Reprocessing are required companion courses for this group consultation series. Part 1 builds the complex developmental trauma foundation first; the narcissistic abuse course layers on top of it. Consultees will be asked to work through the courses independently throughout the Group Consultation series. Application of the course material with clients will be discussed during group consultation meetings, with the expectation that Consultees complete the training modules according to the following schedule:

Part 1 + Preparing Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse over the course of 6 months

Decoding Complex Developmental Trauma Part 1

• Group 1: Module 1 thru Module 2 Video C (4.25 hrs)

• Group 2: Module 2 Video D thru Module 3 Video E (6.5 hrs)

• Group 3: Module 3 Video F thru Module 4 (4.25 hrs)

Preparing Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse for EMDR Reprocessing (12 CE hours)

• Group 4: Module 1, Videos 1A - 1D (3 hrs)

• Group 5: Module 2, Videos 2A - 2G (5 hrs)

• Group 6: Module 3, Videos 3A - 3F (3.75 hrs)

Hours, Fees & Registration

• For EMDRIA Certification: Up to 10 of these hours of Group Consultation will count towards the EMDRIA Certification Consultation requirement for those who are pursuing this credential. However, this group is open to clinicians who want to deepen their learning, but aren't yet sure about pursuing EMDRIA certification. A letter of verification of attendance will be provided to those completing Group Consultation, but Group Consultation alone is insufficient for Candace to write a letter of recommendation for Certification to EMDRIA. • For Precision EMDR Advanced Certification in Complex Developmental Trauma: Up to 10 of these hours of Group Consultation will count towards the requirements for Precision EMDR Advanced Certification in Complex Developmental Trauma. Click here for more details.

• Fee: $75/hr ($150/group session), which is $900 total for a 12 hour (6 Group) Pathway (Option A or C) or $750 for a 10 hour (5 Group) Pathway (Option B). Course material must be purchased separately.

• Payment: A credit or debit card will be kept on file and the fee will be charged on the day of each group meeting. Payment is charged for each group consultation at the time of the session. Commitment to the full series of group consultation sessions is expected out of respect for the other group members. Cancellation of any single group consultation session must be made a full 24 hours prior to the session in order for the session fee to be waived, with the exception of unforeseen illness or emergency circumstances. A fee of $150 will be charged for discontinuation of participation in the full group consultation series resulting in two or more sessions missed within the series, with the exception of unforeseen severe or emergency circumstances.

• To Register: Complete the Interest Survey above, and Candace will confirm your enrollment with you directly.

• Note: If you are interested in joining Group Consultation with Candace, but these specific dates/times do not work for you, please send her an email at candace@cdcounseling.org so that she can keep you posted about other offerings.

Individual Consultation

• Scheduling: Individual consultation appointments are scheduled based on mutual availability and can be arranged via email at candace@cdcounseling.org. Individual Consultation can be scheduled in 1- or 2-hour sessions.

• Fee: $190/hr

• Payment: A credit or debit card will be kept on file and the fee will be charged on the day of the appointment.

• For EMDRIA Certification: A minimum of 10 hours of individual consultation is required prior to writing a recommendation letter for certification. Work samples/demonstration of mastery of all 8 Phases and 3 Prongs of the standard EMDR protocol, and evidence of correcting any concerns, is required for writing a recommendation letter. Candace is also available for individual consultation for clinicians who want to deepen their learning, but aren't yet sure about pursuing EMDRIA certification.
