On-Demand Training you will actually finish with a group that sets the pace.
Most courses get bought in a moment of excitement and then sit there. You lose the cadence, or you rush it and come out feeling confident but not detail-competent. This is built so that doesn't happen.
You get excited about a course, you buy it, and then there is no pacing. You lose track of the page. You lose cadence. Or you run through it quickly and don't gather all of the information.
A lot of courses are timed badly on top of that. Six weeks, six months to complete. If you aren't thinking ahead, you don't get your money's worth and you buy the course again.
You might feel confident. You might not feel competent in the details.
A set number of hours doesn't lead to competence. It doesn't lead to confidence in the material, or in EMDR. There are too many certified clinicians who get through the training, get through the consultation, and come out the other side not feeling ready.
That is how I felt going through my own consultation. I needed more understanding, more of this, more of that, and I didn't know how to integrate everything I was getting into a framework.

Advanced Certification Group
What a group session looks like
Two hours live, every four weeks. The spacing is what makes the coursework finishable.
Six clinicians, same cohort throughout. By the third session they know your caseload.
You bring a case, not a topic. Everyone presents.
About an hour of course video a week in between.
Individual consultation available alongside, if you want it.
I want you to feel solid in what they are. Ten hours of group doesn't mean you have mastered the material.
That is why skills verification is part of this, and it is one of the reasons I became an Approved Consultant in the first place. What you're paying for is a mentor. Someone alongside you in the process, who is there when you need support. If you don't have access to that person, or they feel an arm's length away, you aren't going to be an effective clinician.
Group hours do not earn a recommendation letter. A letter comes through skills verification, individually, with me.
Five hours minimum, at $190 an hour, booked separately from any group. It is a competency standard, not an attendance credit. I write the letter when I'm confident in your work with this population, and some clinicians need more than five hours to get there. You'll know where you stand by hour three, not at the end.
I don’t mess around with clinical cases.

Individual consultation available to run alongside your group
Individual hours do double duty: they count toward your individual EMDRIA requirement and toward Precision EMDR Advanced Certification

No sessions over Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year
Minimum of 2 Clinicians to run the group
Full course access, no expiry date
Who’s leading this
I'm Candace Dickinson, LMHC, EMDRIA-Approved Consultant, and assisting faculty at Precision EMDR Academy, where I sign off on Advanced Certification.
I wrote the curriculum this group works through, including the Narcissistic Abuse Assessment I developed to catch what standard checklists miss. I've spent more than a decade on this work from my practice in Massachusetts.
I went through my own consultation needing more understanding, more of this, more of that, and not knowing how to put any of it into a framework. That is the gap I built this to close.
I don't mess around with clinical cases. You will get straight answers about what you are looking at and whether your client is ready, and you will know where you stand rather than having to guess.
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
-
No. The group price covers consultation only. Courses are bought separately from Precision EMDR and the price for each is listed on the track above.
-
Up to ten. EMDRIA requires twenty consultation hours and allows a maximum of ten in a group, so Certification + Curriculum and Advanced Certification each deliver the full group allowance and leave you needing ten individual hours. You can book those with me, and they count toward Precision EMDR Advanced Certification at the same time.
-
No. Groups build consultation hours. A letter comes through individual skills verification, and it is a competency standard rather than an attendance credit.
-
We take Individual work with me, five hours minimum at $190 an hour, booked separately from any group. I write the letter when I am confident in your work with this population, and some clinicians need more than five hours to get there. You will know where you stand by hour three, not at the end.
-
Then I tell you what is missing and what would close it, and we keep working if you want to. I will not write a letter I am not confident in, and I will not leave you guessing about why. The hours you have already done still count toward your EMDRIA total either way.
-
Yes, all groups are for clinicians who have completed EMDR basic training. For the Curriculum Group, Decoding Part 1 or Precision basic training is strongly recommended, because the Assessment is built to work with the readiness sequence taught there. If you’re interested in basic training please visit Precisionemdr.com

It is an application. Six seats a cohort and I read every one myself. Tell me about the client or situation that sent you looking, and I will come back to you within two business days. If you are accepted I will send a payment link.

Sessions are not recorded, because your case material is in them. Missed sessions are made up individually with me at $190 an hour, so the group stays on the same page and nothing in the sequence gets skipped.
Those hours are not lost. They count toward your individual EMDRIA consultation requirement and toward Precision EMDR Advanced Certification, the same as any individual hour with me.
Apply for a Cohort
Six seats a group, and I read every application myself.
Tell me about the client or the situation that sent you looking for this. That's the part I actually read, and it's how I decide who ends up in a room together.
Fair warning: I'd rather talk than type. Expect a voice memo back, or a call if that's easier. If you'd rather have it in writing, say so below.
I'll come back to you within two business days.
